2008 v rolex daytona real or fake please?
Hi All,
I am looking at the enclosed watch for 6500- Seller has all papers that show the serial number on the case matches the warranty. Can you tell from the pictures if this is a fake? Thanks |

Yes. The price is great. I would not buy unless seller agrees to take it to Rolex for a full check.

Yup,,,,too good to be true certainly applies here, you better ask the seller what`s going on if you you don`t want to get caught with stolen property or who knows what and if you hear the word "gift" just walk away.

I see you're located in NYC, so your best bet is to take it to them and have them give you a service estimate while you wait w/ seller

£6500 would be about right, $6500 would be very cheap.
The watch in the photo is genuine. The deal you've been offered, there are lots of questions I'd need answering.

What's that old saying, "If something looks too good to be true, then it probably is?"
The only question I would ask is why I would suddenly let myself think I would finally be so lucky as to get such a great deal. I guess there are million-to-one chances that people do stumble on, and I wish you all the best, but unless I could actually prove to my own satisfaction that it's real, I wouldn't touch the deal. Therefore, the questions are: --Can I see it in person? --Can we meet at an Authorized Rolex Dealer (AD) to verify it's real? If there's any charge, I'll pay it if the watch is real. You pay it if it's not. Can't think of anything else except maybe: --If the watch turns out to be real, will you guarantee the price? |

Dear all,
The seller is willing to meet in person and have the watch authenticated at Rolex. Only issue is he is out of state and too far from me. Are there any escrow services where he could ship the watch to me for inspection before he gets my money? And other methods you guys could advise me on? Seller offered I pay half now and half after I receive the watch and it checks out. Still to risky. Thks for any tips. |
