ROO VS DSSD (Size Comps)

Currently have a DSSD which I love and plan to never part with, but I'm looking into AP and learning toward the ROO Panda, Does anyone have wrist comparison pics, or side by sides w/ a DSSD... Or any input from someone experienced with both, in Tampa, There's nowhere nearby to try on a ROO.

Its a different world , DSSD is nice but this one is nicer. the detail everything is different class. Get the ROO panda, you wont be disapointed.

I don't doubt AP's quality, I know just from reading the forums, they're well respected, I'm just curious on how the size wears. The DSSD's case size is as small as I feel looks good on my wrist.

It feels about the same size between these 2 watches. The new AP made bigger size of 44MM, but this one is 42MM.

Thanks, I realize the DSSD is 1.5mm less in case width, right? But the lugs on the ROO are larger, people say it wears 44-45mm?

I find it hard to believe no one has comp shots or wrist shots of one, then the other, on the same size wrist... lol

I am sure someone will chime in to help soon. Just gave them some time and make it to the top post.
I can help you if you need to compare RO with Rolex YM.

I think there is no doubt that the absolute fit and finish of the AP is a bit higher, and they are of course one of the big three houses, along with far less output. I think a AP ROO would complement your DSSD very nice - there are quite a few occasions where I would hesitate using a ROO but never a DSSD. It just just built like a tank and can take anything I can throw at it.

The one thing I want to point out that even if you like/love the AP design, take some time to assess how it feels on your wrist. The flat and rather long case back design simply doesn't sit comfortably on all wrists.

Also have the DSSD and ROO SS and ROO titanium. I must say I absolutely love the DS and find it very comfortable to wear mid week, but when Friday comes around its AP all the way. The titanium IMO is super comfortable, I find the SS with horn back strap the least comfortable but just being picky , feel lucky to have a choice in the first place!

I have a DSSD and am buying an AP ROO Chrono. I wore my DS for 3 years straight. I've tried on many ROOs and they seem much more balanced and IMHO just feel superior to my Rolexes. I love Rolex but AP is in another league. The 42mm wears smaller than the DSSD but the 44mm wears like the DSSD but more balanced with a better proportioned dial. I think the ring lock stuff on the DSSD makes the dial appear smaller than it should. The 42 gives the impression that it's bigger than the DS in the eyes of some because of the dial fills the case.

The ROO on bracelet feels more balanced then the a bit top heavy DSSD.
