I May Have A Problem With My Rolex

Hello everyone,

I am new here and new to using Forums. Recently I wanted to sell my Rolex I purchased in Frankfurt Germany at an authorised dealer. It came with the paperwork and everything when I purchased it and I still have it.

I went to advertise it on Ebay with pictures of the paperwork and the watch and I got kicked off of ebay for Trademark violations. They said the watch was a fake and that they where forwarding my details to law enforcement officials.

I have added some pictures and wanted to see if anyone here could tell me it is a fake. I find it hard to believe that such a dealer would sell fake goods. I find it even harder to believe that someone working for ebay is such the watch expert, especially when they inform my rolex is fake because all the paper is not in English.

I took it to three dealer now in Germany and Luxembourg and was told it is real and they made me an offer but not one I was looking for.

Could someone here perhaps tell me what they think, as I do not want to drive around any longer.

Thank you all for your time.

Sorry...it's fake. For starters, look at the date wheel.

Your last picture with 22 on the date wheel is from eBay user: bearhollaringwoman -- which according to eBay is located in San Antonio, TX Something is fishy here

Swiss Ghost,

Thank you for your accusations? I did actually come here to seek advice and NOT TO TRY TO SELL IT or DUPE SOMEONE.

To the rest of everyone who has responded professionally I do thank you for your time. I will contact my attorney of course because I still have my sales paperwork from the dealer as well as the paperwork for the watch.

Is it legal to post the paperwork I have plus the sales receipt from the dealer with their name on it?

My next question is, does this happen much? How often do stores sell counterfeit items with paperwork?

Thank you all for you time.

Kind Regards,

If you have the box and paperwork then post it and we will tell you if it is legit..
how long ago did you buy it?
The paperwork should have a serial # and the serial # is located on the watchhead between the lugs on the 6 o clock position so pop the bracelet off...
how long ago did you buy it?
did you buy it new or pre-owned?
was it a ad?

iF YOU BOUGHT IT FROM A ad WITH paperwork then the only thing I can think of is that somewhere along the line of you owning it that a friend or co-worker had/bought a replica and switched it on you.. do you remember giving it to anyone for a few hours minutes or any case where you got the watch back from someone and it did not feel right becuase honestly that fake looks bad so bad that 90% of the fakes looks better so why would a ad try selling off a bad fake instead of one that is alot better..

Please email me with the name of the dealer, I am here in Germany.

What a coincidence s/he'd choose to post the scam here!!!

bearhollaringwoman????

I don't like to even think how someone would come up with such an ID. Just not the kind of moniker that exudes honesty and trust.

Look at the feedback. Everything under 5 bucks, most for 99 cents. And now he's suddenly selling a Rolex? I think that's called working up the feedback rating before lowering the boom.

And now there's a Cartier watch up for auction. Says he bought this in Frankfurt, too. Wonder if it's real.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cartier-Swis...#ht_980wt_1413

Look at the back of the links on the top. Is that copper or some base metal showing through? Yuk!

Here's a real one:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cartier-Pash...ht_6118wt_1180

I realize the second one is a chronometer, but google the images and compare the watch backs. His looks like garbage. The Cartiers all look better than that. Sure looks to me like "Jason Bulla" is not trying to do the right thing here but is still dealing in fakes on Ebay.

No AD would ever sell that watch. They've got too much at stake.

There's nothing at all right about it.

It's not even close ... TOTAL FAKE! Most obvious are the date wheel and those index surrounds. There's more, but why provide an education in fakery? I'm kinda disappointed ... thought this would be a bit more of a challenge. Can't believe ANY AD would sell that at all, much less WITH papers. Let's see those papers; they're probably fake as well.
