An 18238 would be late 80's - 2000 Double Quickset so it works like a modern one. But those president bracelets are hollow gold links, older style clasp, and less valuable. They have end caps on the links that give them the appearance of being solid. So that price is not great - but if you like it and they'll stand behind it, then not unfair. If it is a 118238 then it came with a solid bracelet and a new style stronger clasp. But that doesn't mean somewhere along the line it wasn't swapped for a hollow bracelet. A proper 118238 at that price would be great. Lastly, if it is a 18038 then it's a late 70's to 1988 Single Quickset, old style movement. Plus old hollow bracelet - many sold in $7500-$8500 range. Hope that helps...
