Scratches dings and dents!
I thought it would be interesting to see some pictures of peoples battle scars on Rolex's they own!
However minor or horrific.. |

Just search unpolished patina vintage and you will get your fill of beat up watches. Here are some really upsetting images.

LOL. I was joking when I was knocking on the vintage watches. I like some of them and most are well taken care of. Just have too much character for me.

My "wear & tear" is not that photogenic, i.e. much scarier in real life than any picture may suggest....

Here are some pics of my daily beater IIC:
None of these scars are deep or something that won't come off with a regular servicing. But, there they are, in all their glory. |

It's funny, but looking at battle scars on Rolexes really doesn't detract from their beauty! Huh! Who knew?

Not really. After a while you see the beauty in it.

I don't like dents and dings neither.
But I bought a watch for using it. Otherwise it should be left in the box somewhere in a drawer . . HANW |

A battered Rolex is still a Rolex so enjoy the battle scars. Me the scars last till the next service. After a spa it is as good as new.
Some nice share by the way. |
