Is this an original ETA 2784 from a Tudor 91140?
I've recently started my quest for a vintage blue Tudor Snowflake 7021/9411/94110 and found a couple that have piqued my interest. I've only recently started researching them so my knowledge is "newbie" status at best.
I found one 94110 but the movement looks a bit off to me. I see no finishing and the marks on the rotor look to printed in blue as opposed to etches/engraved and gold. Also, the backside of the case looks considerably different than pictures I've been looking at of the 7021, was the case changed that much on the 94110? I was hoping someone can chime in and help me out with the picture below. Thanks and looking forward to spending more time here (although my wallet already hates me)! |

Can't verify the movement but I can say the metal smithing on the bracelet is marginal .

Wait for Tudorman to chime in. Then you will have your answer.

...that is NOT a 2784 mvmt...
...not sure what it is from, but could be an early 1895 from a jumbo D/D.
...notice the 2784 stamping under the balance wheel on mine. |

Thanks Tudorman and everyone else for your help!
Strange that I also found this one below in response to a WTB ad I posted and looks to have the same rotor but correct 2784 movement? The case however is totally different but is supposed to also be a 94110 and has this etched between the lugs. The case-back on this one though has 7109 etches where Tudorman's has 9411... man this vintage stuff is tough! |

I also found this one and was wondering what you all think? Is the pitting on the caseback bad enough to pass on this and does the dial, hands, and bezel look ok (except the pip is definitely wrong)?

Hi. The seal ring is on the case and not the back of this one. Is that any indication of the originality of the watch?
Thanks, |
