UK Rolex dealers?

Hi All,

Further to my other thread where I've started looking for a rolex, does anyone have any feedback for any dealers in the North East UK. The only ones I've found seem to be Goldsmiths.

Also do rolex dealers have to deal in person, say I (finally) decide on a model I want, do dealers ever deal with customers over the telephone if I'm after a particular model or would I need to travel to store?

Thanks for any advice in advance.
Cheers.

In the UK, my understanding is that the ADs can not do deal over the phone. However, they'd happy to take a deposit over the phone, but you need to be there personally afterwards.

I found Goldsmiths in Eldon square to answer queries regarding product availability over the telephone well enough, I travelled to the store to do the deal and make the purchase. They are of the same chain as Mappin and Webb and the service I received was as I expected of an AD

Good luck

Try IanBlowers in Hull. Deal in Pre-owned but have a massive selection and top people. Definitely worth a look at their website at least

I bought my Rolex Daytona via phone from Bell Brothers in Doncaster!

The service I got from Julie (the store manager) and her staff is second to none.

I always like to buy luxury goods from small independent rather than big unfriendly chain!

Market Cross Jewlers do a nice line in pre loved. Google them. They have a few branches dotted around the north east

There's a standalone rolex boutique opening in Leeds in June.

Unless you find and independent dealer it's a bit like the difference between Asda and Tesco. Pretty much of a muchness in terms of experience.

You'd have to ask if they do home delivery, but I'd at least want them to fit the bracelet to my wrist if required.
