Rolex Date given as gift...

Hello all,
A couple years ago, I received an old Rolex Date (with no paperwork) from a family relative.

Above the 12:
ORIG ROLEX DESIGN
15200

Below the 6:
STAINLESS STEEL
N195XXX

If it's real, the serial number places it around 1991. I was hoping to get some video (very small ticks (~3-4 or so) for each second), but recently it has stopped working (:/). I'm debating on getting it serviced (costly), which is heavily influenced on it's overall authenticity.

Thanks.

Easy solution....send it in and get it serviced. You'll know right away if everything is authentic/GTG

Exactly as above, service it at any decent watch maker they will tell you straight away if it's a real Rolex.

Hit your closest pawn shop - see what they'll offer you for it. Fastest way to be set straight.

Not necessarily. I've been in some that'll tell you it's fake, hoping you don't know it's not.

Hard to tell. I'm not ready to call it a fake just yet.

Need more pics.
