Vintage 1675 Lovin...

Have not worn this in about a year....
Ran across it today and just had to give it a day.

I had debated selling it in the past but for some reason I can never manage to bring myself to sell my vintage pieces...

I have it on a Jub, I have the original riveted bracelet but it is too big for me and I do not want to size it.

The original owner was given it by his parents when he graduated the naval academy and all he could tell me is he was on subs and it spent lots of time under the arctic ice during the cold war, I purchased it from his son a couple years back and had Bob Ridley clean it up...

Nice watch. I had a 16750 years ago and got bored w it. I just picked a clean 1675 Pepsi. I just love it. I am having a total bro-mance with it. Nicest Rolex I ever owned. The dial seems to be significantly larger than the SD I had before. I love the way there is no chrome surrounds of the lumi

Actually, I think there is some merit to your observation about the 1675 dial being larger. I'll need to google to find the exact dimensions, but here is why I am certain it is larger. The SD is a bit smaller than the Sub Date. I was checking out the 1675 vs. 1680 bezel inserts and found that the circumference of the 1675 is larger than the 1680. In other words, I could not fit a 1680 insert onto a 1675 because it is too small. So the translation is SD is smaller than 1680 is smaller than 1675. It does have a bit more dial presence for sure.
