Icon10 Back and Refreshed

Well, the wife and I just got back from Mexico for some nice R&R. Couldn't have been better! :smoking: Outside of resort pampering, we took a ferry over to Cozumel since they had a Panerai AD. Uhhh, there were two PAM's in stock. :bang head: Thanks guys. I did try on a Cartier Ballon Bleu in SS though. I was actually pretty surprised and liked the thing. Got me thinking....

Anyway, one of the coolest things was swimming in this giant sink hole/cave they have near Chichen Itza. Just AWESOME! That's me bombing off the cliff into the water....

Great pics Bryan, we sure don't have anything like that here in Oz, not that green and picturesque.

Enjoying life is what it's about. Ask someone who's retired, no kids at home and not even 60. Lif'es meant ot be full on, casual.

Mik, as an older bloke I can't think where to begin, but baby gaol turns into other things for number of years, still a joy, but not quite as carefree, until later.
Don't wait for the vacation, do it, take the kids, there are ways to lessen the burden and let kids have fun.

But this is a watch forum and there's straps to be looked at and watches ot be admired and, and,
for those old men (such as me) there's bed, before I turn into a pumpkin!

cheers
richard

Not to hijack B's thread, but one is too young for vacation, like one is going to be born any day now! Kinda hard to take a <1 year old anywhere. My first could definitely go now as he is approaching 2 and fairly easy enough to handle. So maybe 2 years is an exaggeration. Need at least a year though.

I'm currently at a tropical paradise too (Mauritius), and will post some pix when back.

Mik, as an expat, I'm forced to travel with young ones and it's not too hard. My oldest's first trip across the Atlantic was at three months. Hardest age is probably 10 months to 18 months (too old to just sleep, too young to sit relatively peacefully for an extended period of time). But, it's manageable, and the key is to find resorts with excellent childcare. Plus, those that do have that kind of service, are very welcoming and accommodating to young families.

Long story short, there's never a reason not to go on a trip.

Awesome location... no wristshot?

Edit: Should have read the thread through, I see the lack of watch pics has already been addressed, lol.

Hi Brian,
Looks great, gives me the itch for vacation. All i did see of Chichen Iza was the enormous pyramid on the ancien site (where i developed fear of heights, standing on top :-) )
Great pictures!!!&

You're lucky you got to climb it. They stopped allowing that around 8 years ago.
