I live on the East Bay of RI (Rhode Island) so that makes EastBayRI + I ride a motorcycle so it grows to East Bay RIder.

That's about as clever as I get.

I spent many happy and formative years in Sarajevo that made me realise what is important, and not to take things for granted.

Murphy is a nickname some friends at work gave me. I have a knack for being able to find the easiest way to break things
The 'J' part is just the first letter of my name.

Worked with a guy, some 15+ years ago named Jim and he screwed up all the time!

Boss was prone to shout "Dammit Jim!" when he screwed something up. It became a joke to chime in with a "Dammit Jim!" no matter who screwed up.

So, to this day, when I make a mistake it'll say "Dammit Jim!" even though the people I work with now have no idea what I'm talking about.

For me, I used to make and repair gauges and gauging systems, but not anymore.

"trans" = "cross" (prefix, Latin). "i/o" = "input/output" (peripherals that connect humans to computer systems). So "trans-i/o" would mean something like connecting humans across the Internet, or transcending technology, or whatever... Not sure exactly, I just thought it sounded cool. It was my first domain name I bought (in 1998)
