Series letters
I am new to the forums, but hear plenty discussion about certain letter series in Rolex watches. How does this work? I recently purchased a GMT Master II, older version. Is it the number on the warranty sleeve? And exactly what does this mean?

Hi and enjoy TRF,
There are several serial numbers present on a Rolex, bracelet, case and movement are signed. By the way never post full numbers, there are people out there that use them to sell fakes or whatever. Check out www.oysterworld.de |

Good piece of advice, Filip, not to post FULL serial numbers online
Also, right here on TRF, you can see an overview of the serial numbers (although not as far back as you gave link to): Rolex FAQ's. Click here! And a big welcome to TRF! Madrid is a BEAUTIFUL town!
