This or that: GMTIIC 18K vs Day-Date President 18K
I'm getting closer to pull the trigger on one of these puppies. I only want one gold watch in the collection so there will have to be a choice.
The 116718 GMT is so wonderfully sporty and with a great weight/heft on the wrist, but the DD President, especially with a silver stick dial IMO, is so classy and one that you wear wear to anything. What say you? |

I love the GMT's functionality but I would go with the DD in this case (and follow that up with a SS GMT )

Yeah, don't stare to hard on the particular Day-Date photo, I didn't find exactly the photo I was looking for.

I will use my 2000th post to convince you that the gold gmt 116718 is an awsome piece to own. If you are a sporty guy then the gmt fits the bill perfectly. It's weight, sporty looks and ohh that wonderful gold color togather with the sleek ceramic bezel all work togather to create one incredable timepiece!!!!

I would do the GMT because I like to wear my watches all of the time. If it was a time piece for just special occasions or dinner etc, I would def go for DD.

Go for the Day-Date! All though, the picture that you posted of a DD, has a 18K Oyster Bracelet, and not the President bracelet.
Here's a picture of the Day-Date with the correct "President" bracelet.

I voted for the DD but the GMT in gold is completely bad-ass!

DD gets my vote, but I would get it with a flutted bezel and a president bracelet.

Maybe you should have added a "Both" option. Even though I already voted DD, the GMT is a stunning piece...

For me, I would prefer the GMT2 due to its size. I think DD might be a little small for me.

Hard to compare because of the size difference. I voted GMT as the DD I is too small for me IMHO

I would go GMT vs. DD with the Oyster bracelet. If you go DD--get the President band.
