Help Verify Authenticity on Submariner Dial
Could someone kindly help me verify if this is a genuine dial, and explain why the back the dial is black? Thank you in advance for your help. |

The indices look off to me as well. They have a domed appearance when not looking straight down on them.

I am a newbie, but the spaces between "Oyster Perpetual Date" look too wide to me, also should the "Swiss Made" be within the 28 and 32 minute markers !

Actually the "mark 1" Submariner LV dials have the s and e of "swiss made" right above those 2 marks and the O in Rolex is certainly oval?? Not so sure I would dismiss so quickly.

Hey, it happens. You are STILL one of the most knowledgeable Rolex experts that I know, and value your input. If you don't make a mistake every now and then, it means your not doing anything!
