I actually just felt mine and, yes, they are pretty sharp. But they don't bother my 6.25" wrist.

same here, no issue... probably it may be sharp for someone who has bigger wrist as the lugs will be exposed to more skin contact ?

At first I thought it was going to be sharp but I don't notice it at all. The GMTIIC is a very comfortable watch to wear.
