is my rolex box a fake
hi all
im new here and was wondering if you could help me out . about 5 or 6 years ago i brought a rolex box off ebay and the seller stated it was 100 % original etc and when i got it i didn't see no reason not to believe it wasn't .i think it was listed as a vintage box if i remember . i now want to sell it and it will probably be through ebay again and was wondering if you think it is indeed original or not . i know back then it was easier to sell fakes and i dont want to get in trouble selling a fake box .the box number is 68.00.2 thanks and again hello to all |

Looks ok to me but I'm not an expert.
I know that the boxes have changed over the years so just because it may look "different" doesn't mean that it's not the real thing. |

thanks
well thanks guys for moving my post to the WATCH OUT section . i was only asking a question after genuinely buying this box of an auction site about 6 years ago . i was not trying to sell it to any one on here all i was asking for was comments on if you thought it was genuine or not . all you had to say was that you thought / new or could prove it was fake then i would not have sold it as original . now i no why when i tried to comment on how nice someones watch was i was not allowed . again thank you very much , that was a very nice and warm welcome by you ....

even better the watch out section is in the classifieds lol .this is the reason i asked the question about its authenticity before i advertised it . i now realise its obviously a fake and ive lost a load of money on it . im not a replica dealer /seller thats why i asked as i would not knowingly sell a fake .

Your post was moved over to the 'Watchout Section' for two reasons.. The first was to better your audience capture as this section has many members well versed in the particular area you are questioning... The second reason is, these authenticity questions are only for this section, and no other area of these boards are for the discussion of a possible copy item!! Regardless of the outcome!! As for you allowed comment. It's most likely your post was flagged for moderation just like all new users are.. This is to better the experience for the membership in not allowing the spam/scammers/ & self destructing individuals that occasionally pass through....and believe me, there's plenty of that! Thanks for the 'warm' post!!

7 posts and you're this cocky. Not good. We are good people that help others regarding Rolex. My opinion, and mine alone, relax or go elsewhere.

Any "Is this a fake?" post goes DIRECTLY to watchout.
Fakesniffers then sniff out the prospective fake. |
