Kopi Luwak taste test.
So my sister recently came back from Indonesia and brought me a present.
Kopi Luwak coffee. (If you have to ask you probably don’t want to know!) Out with the Aerobie Aeropress to brew up a fresh cup of Java. Inverted Extraction just before plunging. Profit Verdict. Overall not bad coffee if slightly more acidic then I was expecting. I think it would be awesome in a cold drip (which removes the acidity) but would need a much courser grind for that. |

I just don't get the appeal of sipping coffee conceived from the defecation of birds. Just because it's the world's most expensive coffee?

It was mostly to just try it to see what it’s like, the method of production rather than its taste that’s responsible for its notoriety imo. |

Is it worth the price tag?
Have you tried it through an espresso machine?

Ugh. I'll stick with regular beans. My wife already says sh!t comes out of my mouth, no need for it to go back in the same way.

I like it. We had an interesting discussion on it last December.

I'm a coffee freak, but I'll take a pass on that one...
