Rolex GMT Master II 16710 discontinued?

Many ADs tell me the GMT Master II 16710 is no longer in the new Rolex catalog, does that mean it is discontinued?

I only own a Sea Dweller and always wanted to own a GMT Master II pepsi, if that is the case, I think I will be purchasing one real soon. Personally, I don't like the new style GMT Master II, with the inner circle engravings.

Indeed the reference has been discontinued and replaced by the 116710. Examples are still in the pipeline though and can be had at ADs.

Yes, sadly enough, it is no more made, but you would still be able to pick them up at AD's if you do a little searching.

So good luck with finding one!

Grab one. They're a great example of a Rolex classic.
Good Luck,

Hope you find one soon, you'll never regret it.

Still get a twinge of sadness to think that they're not making the 16710 anymore. especially when you see pics like Dan's, beautiful

I wish I had a thick enough wrist to suit one - Dan's picture makes one look really, really good !
