Purchasing My New Two Tone Black Submariner
I just sent my check to Cayce at Timekeeper Co. (www.preownedrolex.com) today for a 2002 gently used two tone black Submariner. Thanks to all for the recommendation, Cayce seems like a straight shooter after corresponding with him via e-mail and over the phone over the past week or so. I'll post pics when I get it after my check clears. Thanks again for all of the help!

Early Congrats, you can't go wrong with a TT-Sub. And don't worry Cayce is a good-guy.

Nice and glad to see that you are going against the trend of thinking that the TT Blue Face Sub is the only way to go. Applause......for your decision.

I figured since I already own a Seamaster with a blue face and bezel I would go with the black two tone. I will admit however, that the Omega dark blue is nowhere near as stunning as the Rolex blue. Also I regret pawning a 1970 black two tone GMT a few years back that I acquired on EBay in the late 90s. It was a sweet looking watch, but I got tired of replacing the acrylic (spelling?) crystal every year or so after I would scratch it and it also had the jubilee band which I was also not fond of. |
