Gave My Son His First Rolex

Explorer II (White Dial) Z Serial.

I briefly attempted to sell the watch, but most of the potential buyers wanted it for less than it was worth.

Decided to give it to a deserving guy who is just beginning his professional career. I know he will wear it well; just as he does everything else.

Nice.

Tell him you get first right of refusal if he decides to sell it.

I was wondering where that beauty went.

The watch has found the right home. No price on the forum can match that! Well done.

Good man. I too kept my first Rolex in the family(blood). When my brother graduated from law school, I gave him my Sub/date SS. At graduation, I removed it from wrist, congratulated him, and placed it in his hand. True story.

Very nice move, Mark!

Some day he might be here showing the next generation pictures (or probably holograms or something by then) of the fantastic vintage Daytona his Dad gave him back in the day!

Well done! He will treasure it always.

I did the same thing when my son graduated from college. It's with him now in the army.
