The new colt 44 on a rubber strap is my daily for the rest of the summer because of its durability (baseball, golf, water). It is an awesome watch!

Omega for me

Breitling seems cool if you're into aviation and/or Bentleys. I'm sure that the quality is fine with a solid ETA engine and decent case and bracelet work but I find the design to be waaay too busy for my taste.

Omega, on the other hand, seems cooler-than-snot to me. I've got a PO and continuously admire the elegant design and amazing build quality. I also appreciate the great history of the company and their watches and look forward to adding an interesting Speedmaster to my collection at some point.

Bottom line for me: I find the Omega Planet Ocean to be so beautiful, interesting and comfortable that it gets more wrist time than any of my 3 Submariners or any of my other Rolexes.

Just my dos centavos.

I always thought that Omegas are one step above Breitlings?
I think Omega is at least at Breitling's level, in a quality sense, and a few levels higher from a design perspective (ignoring the cringeworthy 007 nonsense). Though Breitling went from offering zero watches I would consider, to offering a couple in the last few years.
