I hate ebay
Put my AK up last week and it "sold". Yea right, nothing but scsmmers emailing me and a scammer bid and won, but aint gettimg nothing. They send me fake paypal emails and I will explain the sloppiness here, so here goes:
The winning bidder never contacted me after the sale, even after I sent him an invoice and email. My first problem was that he was located in Canada, yet, in my posting I clearly stated US only. Not a HUGE deal, so I msg him through the bay to contact me aboutt shipping and currency etc. Finally, 2 days later, I get a message from the bidder asking me to email him directly at a personal address. The bidder's Info showed a first name george, yet the email he sent me was [email protected]. So, already I know I'm not doing this deal, but I decide to play along. He says that the watch is for a friend of his and to ship it to lagos, nigeria!!!! Yea, ok! I said no problem to the shipping, but I had one problem, I hadn't gotten paid yet. I sent him the invoice again and reiterated the price to him in the email. Then, he says that the money was taken out, but I'd have to confirm the tracking # from a paypal email that was from [email protected] and you know how the story goes. I didn't click any links but I respond to hus emails wondering where his watch is....habahaga, I don't know what couldve happened haha |

I forgot to add that one of the fake emails showed that he paid me $695. Two problems, one is that the sale price was $3000. Annd second, the email shows like a screenshot of his payment, yet, not surprising, no money in my paypal. Back in 2005, paypal was great, now its just the red light district. Its a shame for us who are honest and like the site.

You should try to sell your watch here. A lot less headaches and you will most likely get a pain free sale.

Have you disputed the sale? A "must do" to reverse final vaue fees.
And report him as a non-paying buyer. To avoid OOR bidders you must block countries/continents in your original listing setup.
