What do you think I should get?

GMTIIc.. ??

Or this beauty..??

I've already owned the GMTIIc previously, which I loved but didn't take to the PCL's.. Now I've come to terms with scratches and they are unavoidable..

As most if not all of you are aware I was going to get a gold Rolex not so long ago, price is the only issue..

Bi colour was an option, I was looking into a 116713LN GMTIIc, but once again, £8,500 is way out of my budget.. even with a discount!

So I'm back to good old hard wearing SS You just can't go wrong!

Soo, whats your thoughts..

P.S - These watches are not defenite purchases, I'm just gathering some opinions.. Income thread soon.. Hmmm watch this space

Both are gorgeous.

I'd say DJ since you already tried the GMT.

otherwise, I personally take GMT over the DJ in this round

You could pull off a cool-dial DJ II - something modern, maybe?

There's a beautiful smooth-bezel DJ II Black dial Silver Romans that looks awesome, classic, and stylish all at once. Check it out...

If you are not going to get the LVC back, then I say you go for the the DJII...I love that silver arabic dial. It adds a great youthful flair to a classic timepiece and the WG bezel will give you the flash that I know you love:)

I had this exact same dilemma with the same two watches a coupla years ago Dino mate......

As you know i went for the GMTc but that's also still my favourite of the SS DJII's.

HOWEVER.....!

I honestly do think you're better off with the LVc and IF you ever flip it (ok WHEN you flip it!) i reckon you'll lose less money on the Sub.

Can't go wrong whichever way you choose to go mate two (or three?) great choices there IMO.

Thanks Dan.. You really are da' man!

I'm going to try and "test drive" the DJII & GMTIIc for a few days if I can get hold of one..
