What does a new Rolex come with?
I reckon the Box, papers (what does this entail?)
Is there a certificate of authencity - does it come with your name on it? Where is the hologram located? Instruction booklet? What about a warranty certificate? Tags? Care products - polishing rag? Anything else I am missing? Thanks! |

The new Rolex watches do not have any "hologram" anymore on the caseback, but an easy pull-off CLEAR caseback sticker with the model number on it.

Mike's photo depicts a gold "service" booklet with an image of a balance wheel & spring. Mine came with that as well as the small warranty certification and "translation" booklet. Apparently there are two sizes of the box and sleeve, does anyone have photos of them in comparison? For instance, I have the smaller box for which the outer box's front panel does not fold down.

Is the watch supposed to come with a certificate?
Mine didn't but has every thing in the above picture. The AD also gave me an official appraisal and a detailed receipt for adding it to my jewelry policy... |

I also didn't get a green hang tag from my AD. Got the red certification one, but not the green one. Am I in the minority?
Thanks, Adam |

If you mean the chronometer certificate no. At one time Rolex did this but not anymore. I'm not sure when the practice stopped, but I want to say during the 80s.
