I agree you need to try it on but as for size I also have a smaller wrist about 6.7 and love the diver on... Just started wearing again today in fact

I adore AP but for some reason the Diver didn't fit me very comfortably (7 1/4 wrist but it is mor a shape thing) and I also think it wears larger than a 42mm because of the case shape. It is a beutiful piece but make sure you spend some time with it before pulling out the Amex.

if you can pull off a Panerai, diver will be no issue for you as well. I find it sits more comfortably on my 6.5" wrist than panerai.

Does anyone feel having the AP Diver and a Sub C or Deep Sea is redundant? I currently have a Sub C, and am now interested in an AP diver down the road. (just put a deposit on a Pam 312 so the AP will have to be on deck). I also have a Breitling Super Avenger at 48mm so size won't be an issue :-)

No, having a AP along with a Submariner is a very good combo. The style and how they wear/look are so different. Additionally, I view the Sub as much more flexible, easy to wear to almost anything and being more robust, lower TCO and in most cases more accurate.
I'd easily skip a PAM 312 though and go straight for the AP. |

For recent trips, where I've had to select just one watch to take, my choice has been the AP diver (great all round watch) or the DSSD. I find the diver easy to wear, comfortable and versatile. Definitely one of the best watch decisions I have made |

You won't regret it. For divers I have the DSSD, a k series sea dweller, a 328 and the AP diver and they at all different. I will say that the 328 is my least favorite and I'm saving for more APs and the 328 might have to go to fund the AP purchases. Go with the AP!

Go with the AP, wore one recently and fell in love. Feels incredible and fits fine on my 7" wrist
