IWC Big Ingenieur Chrono thoughts???

Hey guys,
Im considering this IWC Big Ingen Chrono in Platinum. My dealer sent it over to me for inspection. Its BIG, HEAVY (265 grams) and seems nice.
Any thoughts on it?
I would be trading my AP perpetual calendar for this IWC + cash if I do the deal.
Thanks

Never seen one before, but I like it!
I'm unfamiliar with the AP you'd have to trade so I can't tell you if it's a good deal or not.
With those arms I don't think you're allowed to say 265 grams is heavy! Haha
Also, pretty awesome AD to send over the IWC for you to try out

Lol, it's heavy in comparison to any watch I've ever had on! Especially that it's on a leather strap and not even a bracelet. My DSSD was a mere 220 grams.
I have a 39mm royal oak perpetual calendar, 25820st.

How about trading the RO Perpetualfor a Legacy, A 48mm would fit you like a glove.

I love the Ingenieur and it's a beast of a watch. As far as the trade I am not sure if I'd let go the AP Perpetual Calendar for that one. Remember you can get up to 25% off on IWC watches at some ADs. Call Roman Times in Las Vegas and speak to Mickey. He'll get you a good deal.

Also, I think Thomas comments is worth thinking off. The Legacy would look fantastic on you!!!

Damn. My only concern would be if you flexed a muscle that you'd bust the strap...nice watch though.

I was looking at that same model, but in steel with the all white dial. It looks great in the flesh. The watch looks awesome on you Mike, if you love it I say just do it!!

I was going to say "I don't like it. Too large.", then I saw you! It fits you well, and while a Chrono Inge wouldn't be my first choice, if you like it that's all that matters. However, prepare to take a hit if you ever want to sell it.

You could probably get away with trapping a grandfather clock to your wrist!
The watch looks great, I’m betting you could pull off 49mm pretty solidly as well.

Listen, I hate to be the one to say it. But if you want to pull off larger watches, you're just going to need to work out more.

(please don't hit me, I'm fragile)
