What do you guys think of this 'pop culture' type of watch?
I thought it is a very cool looking watch along with having SEIKO movement in it. I purchased it awhile back.
Taken from this link: http://www.luxury4play.com/watches/4...or-series.html "We have been receiving a few questions on our new line of Meister Watches that have been added to our store. We wanted to write up a brief review of the watches and the details. Please keep in mind the pricing on these watches are from $280 for the leather strap models to $400 for the stainless strap models. While this watch was not made to compete with a Pam or Hublot we feel that Meister has put together a watch that offers good value for quality. The Ambassador line is Meister 2nd offering of watches. Two other lines are geared to enter the market in the upcoming weeks and are on equal quality. The watch we are shooting is GoBe's own Ambassador AM105SS. The watch does feature a real carbon fiber face with luminous hands, except the all black in the shots. In the dial you have date, 24 hour indicator and a stop watch function. The movement of the watch is 6 hand Japanese Quartz. We have verified from Meister that the movement is Seiko, which is considered one of the best for Japanese Quartz. This should provide years of worry free function. The case , bezel, strap and butterfly clasp are stainless steel with the case given a PVD coating. The leather strap Ambassadors also have a stainless butterfly clasp feature as well. The watch has a solid weight to it that still makes it comfortable to wear for a day out. The case dimensions are 45mm by 15mm. The glass is scratch resistant mineral and the watch has a water resistance level of 100m. We hope the Meister Ambassador can be appreciated. It offers a nice watch for some of our L4P watch aficionados just starting out and looking for quality timepiece. We do carry the full line of Meister Watches so if you do not see a model in stock on the shop feel free to drop us a line." |

It's not really my cup of tea but it is unique and it looks well thought out.

It seems that alot of people are not a fan of PVC colored watches. Is that the case for this watch?
As for me, I'm not a big fan of strap watches and will always look for metal bracelets. |

Honestly for me it doesn't tick any of the boxes at all
But hey. If we were all the same, how boring would that be. You like it and that's all that matters. Wear it in great health

All-black is pretty popular, right now. My general thoughts on more "fashion" watches is to enjoy them, if they appeal to you but don't tie up much money in something that may not have long lasting style, eg. Hublot.
This specific watch is good looking and will probably take a beating. |

Not for me...
Id rather hold out till I could buy something which I feel would hold its value at least. Still you should buy what you want to buy not what we think :)
