Large Watch Collection with Watch Case
Seller skates99
I purchased these watches at a storage unit sale; I do not know anything about watches so I trust the buyer to know what they are looking at. I was going to get the watches checked out by a jeweler; however, he wanted $200 just to verify and appraise them. The Festina is the only watch that has a box and all records with it, shows that $400.00 was paid for it when new, it has a very bright orange face. I am selling these watches as is, however, they all seem to be working, even the ones with the batteries, I checked to make sure they all tick and after I looked them over they seem to be in good shape. Again, please understand the I do now know the history of these watches or where they came from so I can not speak to their correctness. The watch case is missing the power cord and the key but it still looks nice for displaying the watches. Good luck. 1. FESTINA ORANGE- Has box it came in new with all books and sales tags. 2. TAG HEUER 3. TISSOT - 1853 4. SEIKO - 100M WATER RESISTANT 5. BREITLING- For Bentley Motors 6. ROLEX – Submariner Black 7. Rolex – Oyster Perpetual 8. Rolex - Oyster Perpetual date Submariner Blue 9. BREITLING – 1884 10. TAG HEUER – White and Black 11. FOSTER GRANT 12. SEIKO – Quartz, water resistant Buyer pays $25.00 shipping and handling for the item once it is won. Seller has advised the buyer to bid cautiously since history of items have not been verified. As the seller I recommend that if you do not know what you are looking at to please not bid. I also ask that anyone with experience with these types of items please advise me if you have any information on the items presented. Thank you -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On Aug-11-12 at 17:50:37 PDT, seller added the following information: Message from ebayer Dear skates99, U understand that the 3 rolexs alone r worth 20,000 dollars ; if they r fake they r worthless a watch dealer would not charge u anything to check the authenticity If u want my help id be glad to help u if ur trying to fool someone then thats on u, Response: Found the collection as is, I have no use for any of it. The jeweler by my house said by phone that if I brought him that many watches to look at he wanted 200 for his time. I figured that most of the people on eBay would know more than me and be able to figure it out. If you look at my feedback, you will see that I am not in the habit of lying to eBay customers. This is out of my experience and I had to make the choice weather to keep them, give them away, or sell them. I have no problem saying that I spent $400.00 to acquire the storage unit they were found in, I am not trying to get rich off this item, so what would you need or what would you advise me to look for so that the watches can be identified? Do you think I should just pull them and do something else with them? This item maybe canceled if we can not get this figured out! - skates99 These watches seem to be to nice not to sale, however, my reputation on ebay is very important to me and I am not willing to jeopardize that... skates99 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Large-Watch-...item4abad63afe |
