RB2 Ti Vs Grand Prix Carbon. Which do you choose?
Being that these two limited editions are quite sought after but still have a different aesthetic, which do you go for and why? I'd love to hear some banter as to what makes one better than the other. Seems as if RB2 people consider it the best ever, but the Grand Prix size and presence seems to be a big hit with others as well. thoughts?

I sold my GP awhile ago and now I missed it again, love the weight , the strap was perfect and the red color look awesome.. but RB 2 is better IMO.

RB2 is my fav AP.
I like the color and see through dial. GP is nice but it's not for daily use IMO.

Rb2 Ti is amazing piece.
If I went GP, I think the RG would be the version that really popped (ask Rory). They are both great--you thinking about one? |

i think it would only be fair to ask those who vote if they have tried BOTH on and spent time with them. not just or the other.
i consider the gpc as the descendant of the rb2: the outer screws not fully enclosed by the bezel the indices, no numerals the pronounced, as if stuck on, pusher holders the large, gear inspired crown the plot design having a binary aspect personally and subjectively i prefer the GP if solely on the colour/lively part. the rb2 is monochromatic and that serves its purpose in being a classy watch as much as a sporty one huge and total respect for the watch, but i must say that after i have 'met' it and spent time with it, i appreciate it all that more but know for certain that i do not wish to own one |

I have to say that I had the chance to choose between both of them and to be honest and without taking anything away from the RBii the grand prix is much sportier and bulkier than the RBii. I ended up getting the GP for I prefer the not so sleek yet very modern design of the GP. part of the prestige of the RBii is caused by the market. it was a $23k retail and speculation is partly responsible for the actual price of the watch $43-45k. when I put on the RBii and then the GP I felt that I was getting more watch on my wrist from the GP, but that's just me. BTW to make sure I'm clear on this issue, the RBii is also a gorgeous watch and the only one I'd probably replace my GP with. my vote is for the GP

The GP is very eye catching but, tis almost too much going on there, the dial colors, carbon, gold rehaut; very busy looking. Definitely has a great wrist presence, but is it as versatile as the other? RB2 is more monochromatic, but sleek, classy and sporty all in one. Keep in mind I'm a female and could never pull off a 42-44, just putting my 2 cents in ;)

GP is a great watch, but would have to go with the RB2.

I'd go with the RB2 as well. I like the concept of carbon, but the GP is 'too' colorful and busy, compared to RB2 that is. Both are nice!

I love the RBII. The dial is what does it for me I love the fact you see the movement from the dial. Now if I'm talking GP in rose gold I'd really have to think hard about it. I would've loved to consider the RBII when I got my ROO 44mm but I know it was a little more than I wanted to spend and really didn't want to try to source it either.
