Ebay Authentication help

Everyone, need your help authenticating these pieces.

I've been on the hunt for months now and found these 3 pieces. One is ending soon.

1. Rolex deepsea -http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Rolex-Sea-Dweller-Deep-Sea-DEEPSEA-Mens-Watch-116660-/280936372707?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item41691cd9e3

Everything checks out until he showed me the appraisal which says that the serial is a G as opposed to the V on the watch. Seller has been prompt with responses and willing to do paypal with local pickup. but soon as I asked about the appraisal(this morning) he stopped responding.

2. Panerai Pam 000- http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Panerai-PAM-0...item43b2b13b35

3. Omega Sea master PO - http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...E:B:SS:CA:1123

I'm willing to go full mile for any of these watches but need authentication help.

Thanks a lot in advance!

If there's ever a shred of doubt, I'd pass. There might be some savings to be gained from eBay, but unless you have complete trust in the seller, I'd always pass. Appraisals, if done by an AD, are not really worth anything as it's unlikely the AD would open up the watch and confirm that the entire movement etc is genuine and original. Buyer always beware! The only way to be sure is to get it authenicated at a RSC, and you go with the seller to the RSC to pick up the watch. The vast majority of Rolex sellers are probably genuine, but I wouldn't take the risk if there are any doubts ...

Thanks. Never been to an rsc but do you think they'd do authentications on the spot? And how much they'd normally charge?

I guess ill call the one in toronto tomorrow.

Unfortunately (maybe fortunately) i lost the auction, still me up til now... man.. if only day cares are lenient with pickup times. Lol

No the RSC won't do authentication on demand. But an AD might do that for you.
