Seized Assets Auctioneers
Just wanted to get everyones opinion on these guys.
They have this auction going right now and one of the items they are selling is a Daytona. There are several things that just don't add up in my opinion. Here is a link to the auction. http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/...ograph-watch-g They have the model number as 116520, which correct me if I am wrong, that is the newer Daytona with the ceramic bezel. The pics also show the new buckle. Which I believe puts this is a 2009 or newer watch. Yet one of the pic shows a booklet with the serial number and the description of the items say "F" serial number, which puts it at 2003. So either the watch is bogus or they are reusing pictures. What are your thoughts??? |

116520 is the right reference number for that watch.
Their price estimate is ridiculous for a pre-owned Daytona with an unknown service history. Plus you may be charged a buyers premium, too. Just skip the auction and get a better one from a trusted TRF seller here

The watch is a F serial which puts it at 2004. Model number for this year would be 116520
The buckle is NOT the newest style and IS period to an F serial. The latest style clasps started in 2009 on the daytonas on V serials Hope this helps. I would also highly suggest looking in the FS section right here on TRF and save yourself thousands |
