The 18RG44 is very heavy...looks amazing, but I could not pull it off as a daily, like my FG44.

I like mine. Cheers! .. Jen
Hey there, I wear the SS every once in a while... I agree, indoors the FC doesn't really shine, I love wearing it outside.

I do like the SS, it was the first one that I bought, but two factors made me go and enjoy the carbon more: one was the SS model's redundancy in my collection, and secondly, the carbon has to be the most comfortable "big" watch I've ever worn. I wear it all day.

I visited my AD last week, they called me and told me the RG44 was in. I tried it on, and for a second thought about getting rid of these two for that and a diver, but truth be told, for me at least, the RG is way too heavy, but beyond that, the weight is all concentrated in one place, making it uncomfortable to wear.

On these forums, it may seem like I'm looking and fiddling with my watch all day, but when I'm working, it's probably the last thing on my mind, and with the SS, and more so the RG, it's a little uncomfortable for me to wear. I'll have a watch on 12-14 hours straight in a day, so comfort is paramount.

If I wore a watch and took it off every couple of hours, etc I would look into the RG.

Hope this feedback helps, go with what speaks to you! Happy hunting.

Quoted for truth. Put it in my sig without attribution if you don't mind. Seriously, the ceramic, white gold pushers, and carbon do things in the sun in tandem so dynamically that no other watch can do. I know I sound like a homer but I believe it. Of course there are nicer pieces out there, but in the sun on a nice day, nothing beats it.

@ Eddie..

Talking about comfortable watches, the most comfortable watch I worn to date is the PP5711. Didn't even remember it was there on my wrist.. Very thin as well. Highly recommend it. Maybe I will get the RM28 instead if the RG44. I already tried the RM few months ago, it is a very good fit too.. Stay tuned.

Sunny day = more pics. My new wallpaper. Got this baby in high res if anyone wants it.

I'm done with taking pictures of this watch, I think I've caught pretty much every angle of it now.

All these beautiful FC44 shots are really making me want to get one. I have a RG44 but it's not a daily watch. I also have a young son who loves to "rough house" with his dad, hope the FC44 can withstand that.

What would be a decent price to pay for a preowned piece?

Although there was one seller who was on here in the past who was really trying to turn it quickly, I think pricing in the high 20s would be the going rate, without additional straps. It all depends on condition etc..
