Quality, looks, reputation, innovation, 40 mm case size diving watch instead of something the size of a beverage coaster, and the fact that Rolex cares about their name and image.

Quality, visual aesthetics, prestige, heritage.. etc

I am one of those that will probably only choose a Rolex (unless the enablers here persude me otherwise!)
