FSOT: IWC Vintage Ingenieur Laureus Limited Edition !!
What an absolutely stunning watch. Believe me, this watch is far nicer in person. The dial sparkles!
Every year IWC produces a Limited Edition Laureus Foundation watch and donate part of the profits towards the Foundation. In 2011, the Laureus is a Vintage Ingenieur. Perfect size at 42.5mm wide, by 14.5mm thick. Strong wrist presence. Beautiful blue starburst dial and dark blue croc strap. The previous owner never wore it on the factory strap. I have a few times, so I will not call it new, but it sure feels like it. There are a few scratches on the lugs from strap changes. There is some "road rash" along the lower bezel edge, consisting of a few tiny dents and light scratching. Some of it, if not all, could be removed with a polish if you choose. The crsytal is perfect. The watch is better than 90%, but I will call it that and play it safe. On the wrist it is most definitely 95%. Remember, I shoot these shots with a macro lens from 2" away! It will come to you complete with all boxes (triple boxed!) and papers and warranty card. The watch was purchased from an authorized dealer in January 2012, so plenty of manufacturer's warranty left. The boxset is a special Limited set and is oversized. Even the cardboard box is produced for this edition. The watch msrp was $8000, and it has been sold out. Asking $4850 included fully insured fedex overnight to any address in Canada or the US. The watch is in Montreal, Canada, and is available for local inspection. Please excuse any lint you see in the photos. Please email me with any questions. Cheers, |
