Rolex GMT

Purchased my most wanted Rolex - SS Daytona with black face a few weeks ago. Now the decision is whether to keep my SS GMT 16700. Any thoughts would be appreciated. GMT has been sitting unworn since Daytona came home.

Congrats on the new watch!

I'm a one-watch kind of a guy...so, I'd say get rid of the GMT.

I'd keep it unless you really need the money. You'll put it back on once the Daytona honeymoon is over.

its too soon ....
imho gmt is more practical and wearable, but give it some time to let the new wear off before you decide.

x4. The 16700 is a special piece. More apt to wear it everyday to go easy on the Daytona PCLs.

Congrats on the Daytona. Keep the GMT until you are strapped for cash. Otherwise it will be nice to keep it as your collection.

I just got my white SS Daytona and it seems like it doesn't leave my wrist, so I understand exactly what you mean. My SS Sub and DD are getting no wrist time currently. It'll pass and things will even out. I would def keep the GMT unless you are solely a one watch person or you need the money. Congrats on the new SS Daytona!

Keep it for a bit longer and see.

If you don't like it anymore then sell. But don't sell it too quick as you might get seller's remorse like many of us had experienced..

Keep the GMT. It can't match a modern Daytona, but it has it advantages.
