Like the watch, but too casual for a suit IMO.

Awesome! That watch is really a jack of all trades. Goes well on a NATO as Patrick showed, and works well as a suit watch too!

I think it's too big for my skinny wrists though...

Love the watch.
Don't love the service history
with them. MANY were quite
problematic and a lot of the problems
were really quality control issues.

Lots of stupid thinks like bezels popping off!

I love the LE posted with the yellow accents, that is
the one I wanted for myself.

Yeah, I agree, it looks great, but that navy seals tie-in makes me cringe.

The SEALs are big boys; if they didn't like the line JLC was feeding them, then they would've told them to go pound sand rather than sign a formal agreement with them. What's more, the watches were put through the wringer in training and on missions with the SEALs and their comments were folded into the final designs. In fact, the Incursions benefit from increased feedback in the form of darkened cases, longer lasting lume and stronger bezels.

What I find disrespectful is when a company appropriates their logo and name without asking for permission (I'm looking at you, Luminox). AFAIC, JLC has nothing to be ashamed of and I wear my Incursion with pride knowing that it was tested in the field by our fighting men and that JLC supports them 100%, not only through their partnership, but also through charitable donations to the SEALs museum and associated charities. Jerome Lambert, the CEO of JLC, is the one who spearheaded the partnership and he has the utmost respect for our fighting organization. It may seem like a cynical marketing excersise to some, but I assure that he doesn't regard it that way at all.

Regards,
Adam

Great comments Adam.

I remember Clinton being on the Today show sometime in the last year and he wore his NSA with a suit then as well...and I think it looks great on him.

It's a wonderfully versatile watch that I have really enjoyed owning. It also is the most accurate watch I have had...including all the ones I have flipped.

I have been feeling this one for a while as well. I go back and forth on the size and if it's too similar in style to my MC Chrono 2 (markers and numerals).

I also tend to play by my own in-out rule. If one of my pieces doesn't see wrist time for 6-8 weeks its gone. Might have to go see what hasn't been worn for a while

Great shots gents, thanks for fueling the fire....

No one, least of all JLC claimed that these were issued watches. A small number of prototypes were provided for testing and evaluation, and there are still at least two currently in rotation. However, I have it on good authority that should any SEAL, serving or retired, wish to purchase one of these watches, a "family discount" will be provided.

That said, it's hard to argue against a G-Shock or Suunto (another popular "operator" brand) when the going gets seriously rough.

Regards,
Adam

Very true Adam and great info above! I can also see the argument for the G Shock with it being really versatile.

and, needless to say, i am very much looking forward to the hand-in-pocket shot, dalip.

I agree somewhat. I don't mind the style with a suit, but it appears to be too big to properly fit under his cuff, thus pushing his shirt sleeve up his arm. Sloppy looking to me.

But very nice watch otherwise. I tried on some JLCs a couple of weeks ago, including this one.
