Wow -what a lot of great responses!! Thanks everyone
Now I know why these "guess what's in the box" threads are so much fun. Also, really appreciate the kudos and the diverse views. That is what makes TRF such a cool place to hang out. As I said... the Sub C is a fantastic piece with many, many great features. But in the end it is all about what makes you comfortable. So.... it is early afternoon here in Michigan. Guess what went on my wrist this morning? |

Love everything about the "older" models, and completely understand your decision.
That being said, I can't see how anyone can hate on the "new" designed stuff. I think ts incredible. Just bought my first ceramic model, and I am sold hook-line-and-sinker. Don't understand the haters on this. Now that I've owned both eras.... Don't get the hate. |

I can totally understand this move. Having Sub C's and a 16610 holes series, I can tell you that they are both amazing watches, but the ceramic ones are certainly more blingy. Currently I find myself switching off betweent the Hulk and the 16610 approx every other day. Each time telling myself I like the one on my wrist the best! In the end, if I had to pick one as a true tool watch, no doubt the 16610 wins this battle. But for shear beauty and prestige, the Hulk is hands down a great choice. Hard to argue that the Glidelock is in fact a better clasp, as the Tuna Can is so comfy and proven on my wrist and many others.

That is worth the trade!
You can always find newer sub later on, hard to find a LV with right price. |
