In this case I would keep the 16600 hands down over the Pam

I own both....

I have a panerai logo base and a 47mm radiomir. I purchased my Z series SD in 2008 after I already had both PAMs. I really like em all!

I have never been drawn to the Panerai subs, so I wouldn't make the trade you are considering. As much as I like both PAMs, I can't imagine a better feeling watch than the SD. The only way I'd trade away my SD would be for a vintage piece.

Now all of you are making me regret losing my SD.

It's okay, I look down and see my new SubC ND.

Have both of them. I'd keep the 16600.

Mate up to you, remember you can flip them at any time anyway, so do it if you want a change....

I would keep the SD...it's just too PERFECT a watch IMHO....had a few PAM's (112, 233, 292) and ended up flipping them to fund other Rolex models (LV, DSSD, Sub ND)...for me, the novelty of the PAM just 'wears off' after a couple months of wear.
