Seriously, if ROLEX produced these they'd fly off the shelf like the space shuttle. And to you guys that dislike the DLC, you know you would go to an AD and start to drool.

Me, not a fan of PVD'd or DLC'd (blacked out) Rolexes.

A huge fan of Becks though!

The watch looked OK. However the skin tight cuff, so that your huge watch has zero chance of fitting underneath, looks horrible. "Hey look at me, I'm wearing a huge watch. See? See? See?" Ok David we all see your watch. It was money well spent. Happy now?

The shirt is... faddish to be kind. The too tight cuffs - check. The buttoned top button with no tie - check. Tiny button down color - check. Untucked with the bottom button undone - double check. Just because Thom Browne sells it, that doesn't mean anyone should wear it.

Perhaps he regrets blacking out his DSSD. That's why he was so cranky

Really?? Why? It's still a rolex. Based on your reasoning, they should delete Or move all posts on modded rolex watches.

I personally love them, want one, and appreciate the posts.

Have to agree on that one but a so called celebrity, as today you have only got to appear on the X factor to be called a celebrity.

I actually love the haters in these threads

In any other thread almost every Rolex recieves comments like "beautiful watch", "incredible piece", "Gorgeous" etc etc. However make it black and it's ugly, breaks people's hearts (lol), a travesty and borders on sacriledge. Hilarious!

Spend $150k on a Bentley or any other expensive car and then give it some different rims, a custom paint job or a body kit and people say good for you or don't even bat an eyelid. Spend just a few grand on a Rolex and you're persecuted for altering it, like it's some untouchable Rembrandt and not a mass produced timepiece.

I love my GMT, I prefer it brushed but what I love most is people's right to spend their money and do what they like with their purchase.

Actually, resale value would actually go up for anything that David Beckham wears. Many of his customized cars have increased in value. I guess it's the celebrity/football status thing.

Well said!!!!! Not like he painted the first Paul Newman Daytona pink. He got a DSSD that's PVDed. There are plenty around. It's not rare collectible or hard to find. No harm done. Not going to hurt anything by throwing a coating on it. All the haters do crack me up. Calling this a travesty or sacrilege is just too funny. IMHO nothing wrong with making a personal item your own.

Edit. Just saw I posted on this thread saying the same thing a while ago. Oops.
