Did you flag it already? It seems strange he would meet you at a jewelry store if he was passing off a fake...
"Willing to meet at jewelry store in North Phoenix for authenticicty."

A lot of the Craigslist scammers say that.

You can tell it's a fake box with only that small picture? Looks like my box pillow and cloth for my Air King, but I'm not as versed as others on this. Also looks like my bracelet, but without seeing the whole thing can't tell. My paperwork was different though.

There are tons of fake boxes that you can pick up for 20 or 30 bucks when the real boxes cost about 100. So many people insist on box and papers that people will buy a fake box or even buy a fake box thinking its real just to help them sell the watch. I would say this watch is probably 100% Rolex and that maybe just the box is wrong. I also have never seen a fake midsize air king, especiall with the engine bezel.

That watch looks OK to me... My father has a DATE model with the same type of dial and bezel.

I see the potential issue with the box, and Raymond I think you're right about the box... But the watch does look good to me, as do the papers.

Fake or not, some people would prefer to buy counterfeit products...I say let 'em...why interfere with a business transaction between private individuals...
