Best bezel insert tutorial?

Looks like I may have a line on bezel inserts for my 16710 GMT II; if this is the case, I will try to switch out the Pepsi for the burgundy/black and the all black.

Who has personally done the switch, and which tutorial comes most highly recommended?

I know Dan Pierce posted that he scratched his in a switch attempt; I'm just looking to avoid errors and for the best way to do this. Assuming that Dan as a musician has much more skilled hands than I!!

Best,

Chris

That's one of Jocke's tutorials. It works.

I don't want to get technical, but according to chemistry alcohol IS a solution!

Sometimes I'm a little heavy handed. First time worked like a charm. The key is to use a rather large screw driver [as seen on the tutorial]. I tried a smaller one the second time and instead of popping the bezel off it scratched the lug.
Take your time and you'll do fine.
Good luck,
dP

Can't remember where I found it. I'll try to search it out. But Jocke's tutorial should work fine.

This tutorial is for the whole bezel change, but I guess it was not that one you were meaning, Dan?

Bezel change! CLICK!

No, but that works. Thanks Bo! The wooden spoon would make scratching the lugs highly unlikely.
