Maybe it's just me but I haven't seen many over 25/30 years old without some corrosion. I've often wondered if they were just more prone to it on earlier models. There is always going to be some moisture content in the watch unless they are assembled in zero humidity and only ever opened in the same conditions and realistically over a thirty year life that's not going to happen.

Looks like some corrosion. The watch is just old. If the owner lived near a beach and popped out the crown a lot, this would increase corrosion because of the salt water content of the air. The case and bracelet were obviously cleaned up and buffed (there's not a scratch on it, but you can still see some corrosion around the links in the first pic).
The thing I'm wondering is how did an oyster bracelet get that much stretch? |

The dial seems to be damaged as well, it might have been flooded some time in its past. Notice that you only get a limited warranty on the movement, not dial and hands.
