I have seen them for $6,200 and up. Probably $6,500-$6,800 is the average range.

What some are willing to pay and there is no such thing as a series of any Rolex watch. Its just a production case serial stamp much like you get on most things today like say a TV.

It's not a "series".. it's just a serial number.

However, some folks will pay a slight premium for the first serial run if they have the proper insert, fonts, and papers since this run is the one collectors generally see as the true "anniversary" edition.

The LV was not a huge demand watch and still isn't. Only time will change that, if at all.

TRF isn't a marketing or shopping tool though.. Anybody can sell their watch for whatever they think the market will bear, or tell others about how much their watch is worth - even if it is an inflated amount..
