i think that watch is pretty damned close to the best overall watch. i love my GMTIIC, but if i had to choose between the two over a lifetime, i would probably go back to the Explorer I. the simplicity and design are sporty and classy all at the same time. i love the clean dial and the lack of the date.
you should be super pumped. enjoy the moment. it looks great on you!!!
