Nice, looks minty fresh! Thanks for the info and for sharing the pictures. $531 seems like a reasonable price.

I assume you're happy with the way it came out? (ie polished and looking new?)

Very pleased. My coworkers asked if I got a new watch since it was shiny. I told them its the same watch as before but just serviced. The interval for this watch to be serviced was 7 yrs.

Your service cost is cheap compared to what I paid at Dallas RWSC!

Haha! I decided to leave my DJ with RSC to check for timing/accuracy, pressure test and authentication.

It will be there for at least a week :

Thanks for the nice pics. I wish I could steal their window displays Especially the one "from metal to case". And the crowns

Great watch, and it looks as they have done a great job.

Enjoy with health

After reading that thread, I took the plunge and left my SD in a jug of water and let it sit there for a min or so. No bubbles - not sure if that is enough of a test. Also wore the watch when I gave my kid a bath, and washed the watch a couple of times today.

RSC service paperwork indicated it was pressure tested.

One thing to note that on their service paper work, they noted to ensure that the crown be screwed down before diving.

Just sayin'....

Nice pics (again). Thanks for sharing. Glad everything turned out as expected of RSC. $ 500 and above seem to be the norm for RSC these days when it comes to routine servicing / overhauling.

the watch really turned out great! i am dreading sending away my vintage tissot bumper for an overhaul either next month or november, as it will be gone for 3-4 months due to the watchmaker being very busy+ the normal time an overhaul takes. i will really miss her.

looks great and the price sounds fair - happy you had a good experience! Thanks especially for the after pics - looks like there's no need to fret over minor scratches and wear - they can be fixed.

I was at 50 St. Clair Ave. W. on Sept. 19 to drop off my Submariner which, despite a RSC service in 2011,refused to keep running on several occasions.I was not too concerned as the two year service warranty is still in effect and it gave me the perfect excuse to check out Canada`s one and only Rolex Service Center in person. There is now a proper Rolex sign identifying the building but construction is ongoing in the interior. The service reception desk on the second floor is "manned" by two very attractive women to say the least,I could go on but I will restrict any further comment to,"no beer required',which is the highest accolade I feel I can give without fear of censorship.I expect to have my watch back before the end of the month and I`m definitely looking forward to my return visit to my new favorite service center.

Looks great, I can't believe how good the clasp looks. I'd have it covered in Scotch tape for a couple of weeks until I got a scrape elsewhere. Aren't you glad you didn't have to wait for it to be mailed? Always the longest part of any purchase or service wait.
