fake Rolex website
Do you all know about this website?
******* I just stumbled upon it. I always knew there were lots of fakes of the common Rolex models, but didn't realize there were people making copies of even older AKs. This scares me because I just bought this model AK on eBay. Mine looks fine (see enclosed pic), but so does the pic in the website! I am definitely going to take mine in to a dealer to try to get it authenticated. Anyone know a shop in Boston area? thanks Ian Last edited by Lol-x; 27 September 2012 at 10:12 PM.. A lady on the opposing team in my bowling league today was wearing a watch just like that today. She said it was her deceased husband's.
Actually, the watch in that picture looks pretty good to me. Of course, I know very little about the Air-Kings and I didn't take a very long gander at the watch the lady had on today. I just helped get the crown screwed in properly. If there's anything wrong with that watch, I'd say it would be the lettering, but you really should see an AD to have it authenticated.

To the OP - the dial looks correct but that is the easiest and cheapest thing for a scammer to replicate accurately. Get it checked out and pressure tested since it may need a service anyway. Don't obsess about it, there is less profit in A-K replicas so there is less volume in it. Therefore, less potential for it being fake.
