2012 Ryder Cup
My favorite golf event short of the Masters is this week. I'm really excited to see the event, although I'm traveling to Vail this weekend, I will be DVRing and watching as much as I can. The teams seem to be as evenly matched as they have been in a while. It should be a good contest. Go USA

Can the US players come together and play like a team? That always seems to be an issue and it takes great effort to have them get over themselves and pull for one another. The Europeans seeming do this as easily as falling out of bed. If Davis Love can pull these guys together and get them all on the same page a-la Paul Azinger then they have a shot, if they're all doing their own thing again a-la Tom Lehman, then forget about it!!!

Was there today at hole 13, a par 3. Practice rounds. Fun to see Tiger and Co Playing around loose and joking while still playing better than 99% of the population. Big crowds but well worth it.

The US choked the lead away, the Europeans took it to the Americans and made them gag! The American's should be embarrassed! Especially Tiger, Furyk and Stricker.
Congratulations to the Euro's, they deserved the gritty gutsy win!

So much for America's over 40 crowd. Furyk, Mickelson and Stricker all blew gaskets the last couple of holes.
Watching Stricker in last year's President's Cup and this year's Ryder Cup hasn't been pretty at all.

I'll never waste another weekend watching a Ryder cup again. Europe always seems to want it more and they deserve it.

Very proud to be European. I cannot stand golf but seeing what this beautiful continent can do when it works together is truly inspiring.
