1st Rolex Anniversary - Great AD Experience

Today marks the first anniversary of the day I finally acquired a Rolex. What a great year it has been, thanks in large part due the great community of TRF and all I have learned here.

Went to the AD where I bought it to browse and let them know I am as thrilled today as I was the day I bought it. While I was there they offered a complimentary light polish and steam clean while I browsed. Wow does it sparkle like new again !

They also freely volunteered to provide me with an updated insurance appraisal at no charge since it list prices have risen since a year ago.

What a great job they did. Really validates going the AD route for your first Rolex.

While there, I tried on again the the new SubC-ND with Glide-Lock. This is a great blend of new and classic and it may well be my next purchase.

Thanks everyone at TRF and all the great posters for enhancing Rolex ownership !

Nice to see so e freebies once in a while. I always find ADs pretentious but I've always found my interactions with Rolex SA to be lovely. They move at speeds slightly slower than continental drift but its amazing what you can accomplish with a hand-written letter.
