Lititz Watch Technicum

Has anyone ever attended the Lititz Watch Technicum. I start my 2 year journey at the school one week from wedensday. I'm extremely excited, yet very nervous. I would love to get feedback from some people who have attended LWT.. Thank you!

The watchmaker at my AD is a graduate of the Lititz Watch Technicum.

This is his story:

I applied and was one of the 45 that went down for interviewing and testing for the day. Amazing facility. Unfortunately I was not chosen as one of the 11. I will be reapplying again in the next couple of years. Good luck, I am sure you will be fine.

Thanks so much guys, melon cap-- If you apply again and show you want it.. I dont see why you wouldnt get accepted. Theres actually normally 12 students .. starting this year theres 14 because normally a couple of ppl dont make it through the program. Weve already had 1 student drop and were only 3 days in.

Always a pleasure.

I make the occasional donation to the cause to help keep his interest up.

No, but it's very close to my alma mater and I've been meaning to go by it. I also know, in a roundabout way, the owner of the construction company that built the building and they went to pretty great lengths to build the perfect building. Interesting article. I'll find it and post a link in a minute.

I think he's one of the FEW watchmakers with extreme attention to detail, it is evident if you read his posts carefully. I've been reading that blog for awhile and love it.
