From what I understand, boxes and watches are sent separately and the ad just grabs a box for the watch/customer.

How about 116710? But only on the outer sleeve. Not on the green boxes.
Why are you asking anyway?

Isn't there usually a set of numbers on the back of the green box?
I moved and I lost the box to my gmt so I was trying to get one for it.... And I want to make sure I get the correct one! Maybe someone can tell me the dimensions if te reference number don't matter. Thanks |

Grab any of them. The ad just takes what the have and then adds the papers to it, I've had the large one for dj and a small box for a djii and when I bought the black explorer the ad said " oh you are in luck we only have large boxes left"

I'm not sure there's rules regarding box and watch association. An AD have boxes in his stock, as well as watches, and when you buy a watch he chooses one. |

They're three sizes. Mine came in the smaller one... It's what the AD grabbed.

I think my box was labelled 'samoa', or something like that.

Look thru TRF classifieds for a GMTIIc listing. Find one with the same box you recall having. Did it look like this? (borrowed pic from David's current listing)
PM seller to beg help - refer to this thread if it helps. Once you're sure, post a WTB in TRF and begin hunting eBay. Just my 2¢
